In the hay day of Dawt, families conducted business in the General Store while their crop was being ground in the Mill. Items available for sale have transitioned from the food staples, calico and cookwares once bartered for. Today's visitors to the General Store will find a bounty of essential supplies, snacks and souvenirs to remind them of their unique visit to DAWT MILL. Any trip to Dawt should include a stop in this unique store for the full experience.

The General Store is one of the original buildings in the village of Dawt. Registration for lodging, canoeing, conferences, camping and picnics are in this building. The store also carries food and camping supplies.

Dawt Mill signature items such as candies, jellies, jams, salsa, syrups, sorgham, cookies and bread on the old time shelves. Craft items, T-shirts, film, sunscreen are just a few of the incidental items available. Beer sales are available in the store.
